Former Division 2 leaders Accrington take on bottom club Bacup at Thorneyholme Road on Saturday.
Defeat at home to Crompton last Sunday saw Accrington drop back to second spot.
Bacup also went down to an eleventh defeat of the season, losing at home to Colne by just 10 runs.
When the clubs met back in May Bacup came out on top by 5 wickets.
Harry Cunliffe replaces Simon Hanson in the Accrington team.
Bacup make three changes with Harrison Turner, Mason Hayhurst, who will make his Lancashire League debut, and Liam Naylor replacing Chris Gansler, Steven Ball and Alex Shepherd.
The Match Ball Sponsor is David Rogers.
The seconds travel to Tony's Pizza and Kebab House Lanehead Cricket Ground to face Bacup the reverse fixture.
The thirds return to action on Sunday with a trip to The Brookhouse Aerospace Birch Hall Cricket Ground to face Darwen 4ths.
This season we are looking back at the long hot summer of 1976 when the club finished as runners up in both league and cup to Rawtenstall and also the less successful season of 1996 when the club finished bottom for the third season running in it's 150th year with Chad Grainger as professional.
Accrington stay third but lost ground after an 85 run defeat at Todmorden on Saturday August 7th 1976.
A crowd of around 5,000 paid record gate receipts of £1451 to see Rawtenstall take on Accrington at Bacup Road in one of the all time classic Worsley Cup Finals on Sunday August 8th 1976.
Accrington's home game against Ramsbottom on Saturday August 10th was abandoned without play and replayed on the following Saturday.
