Accrington Cricket Club are pleased to announce the signing of Jonny Dack from Ramsbottom, Sam Molloy from Blackley and familiar face Simon Hanson who returns from a spell at Whalley, subject to league approval.
We are delighted Simon is back. Experience at key stages of games was something we lacked last year and Simon will help immensely with that. He’ll bring a real sense of calm as well as his undoubted quality with bat and bowl. We’re all looking forwards to seeing Simon get back out there and showing his best years could well be in front of him.
Jonny joins us from a fantastic Ramsbottom set-up where he’s been involved in some big games over the last few years. Bringing these experiences with him will massively benefit the group on and off the pitch. He will bring stability and quality to our batting as well as athleticism and nous in the field. We’re really excited to see Jonny in an Accrington shirt.
Sam is exactly the sort of signing Accrington have always looked for. He is young, talented and really keen to succeed and make his mark on the league. He will strengthen our batting and give us that youthfulness in the field we need. With the experience and quality we have around him Sam will improve no end and we hope he’ll have a big future at Accrington.
