The season ended on a bright note at The iMEP Arena where Accrington beat Great Harwood by 9 wickets in the only match to finish on the final day.

Chasing a revised target of 125 from 20 overs, Accrington lost Graeme Sneddon (21) to professional Thikshila de Silva at 33.

Skipper Jacob Clarke joined Ali Hasham to add a match winning stand of 93.

Hasham hit four fours and three sixes in his unbeaten 59 with Clarke hitting four fours and one six in his unbeaten 36 to see Accrington to a fifth win in their last seven games with 8 balls to spare at a gloomy 7.26pm.

Clarke had earlier taken 5-54 in Great Harwood's 184 all out.

Opener Alex Kennedy (6) was first to go caught by Abbaas Ahmed off Clarke at 12.

De Silva (47) and Matt Oddie (39) added 75 for the 2nd wicket before de Silva fell to the same combination.

Caleb Greenhalgh chipped a return catch to Clarke to have the Accrington captain on a hat-trick.

Oddie was trapped in front by Clarke at 104.

Rain drove the players from the field with Great Harwood on 115-4 after 20 overs.

When the innings resumed professional Jurie Snyman had Kasir Masood (7) stumped by Emile Haratbar at 118.

Siraj Ahmed (16) became Clarke's fifth victim when he was trapped in front at 133

Asad Khan trapped Nathan Sheridan (6) in front at 146 and William Armer (0) was run out at 152.

Veterans Allan Armer (26) and skipper Stuart Maher (15) took the score to 183 when Hasham (2-28) cleaned up Maher.

One run later Armer senior was caught by Oliver Lowe leaving Dominic Steele unbeaten on 1.
