Kieren Grimshaw returned to haunt his former club Accrington to help Rishton to a 45 run win at The iMEP Arena in the JWL Bitter Group.
The Rishton professional hit 56, including two fours and two sixes.
He added 61 with Brad Boddie (a run a ball 40) after the loss of Richie Fox (4) and Luke Eddleston (9) in Rishton's 131-4.
Accrington professional Jurie Snyman (19) and Jon Hayhurst (19) put on 34 but after Snyman fell to Adam Hussain (2-17), Andrew Hickey (3-9) sent back Ali Hasham (1), Hayhurst and Emile Haratbar (11) to effectively end the contest with Accrington 68-5.
Eddleston also took 2-14 in Accrington's 86 all out.
