For the second time in ten days Rishton professional Kieren Grimshaw returned to Accrington to heap misery on his former club this time hitting an unbeaten 56, including five fours to lead his club to a 5 wicket win in a 33 over a-side game.

Professional Jurie Snyman top scored with 33 in Accrington's 134-6.

After losing Jon Hayhurst (0) to Brad Boddie at 8, Snyman and Yousuf Ali (22) put on 49 for the 2nd wicket before Boddie held a return catch off the home professional.

One run later Ali was run out for 22.

Emile Haratbar and skipper Graeme Sneddon put on 35 before Grimshaw trapped Sneddon in front for 16.

Haratbar (21) fell to Grimshaw at 104 as did Siraj Hussain (16) at 127, both men caught by Jack Hilton.

George Mills (9 not out) and Jimmy Hayhurst (7 not out) took the score to 134 after 33 overs.

Mehmood Ahmad removed Mo Khan (0) at 6 and Asad Khan trapped Sam Molloy (7) in front at 20.

Boddie and Grimshaw took the score to 63 when Boddie was caught by Ahmad off Hussain for 19.

Snyman had Adam Hussain (7) caught behind by Haratbar at 76 and Hussain trapped Josh Whitehead (5) in front at 90.

Ali Sartaj joined his professional to hit an unbeaten 21 to take Rishton to victory with an unbroken 6th wicket stand of 45 in the 30th over.
