A record breaking day out at West End saw Accrington beat Church by a club record margin of 214 runs.
Accrington professional Jurie Snyman hit a club record 195, including sixteen fours and thirteen sixes in his 107 ball innings, smashing a 113 year-old club record in the process.
Snyman and Kian Farnworth also added a new Lancashire League record 217 for the 6th wicket with the amateur hitting his maiden Lancashire League half century 54, including four fours and a six in Accrington's 368 all out which is the club's second highest ever score.
Snyman's century was his tenth for the club in all competitions.
Church professional Nimesha Gunasinghe trapped Graeme Sneddon (4) in front at 18.
Jonathan Smith (3-60) then picked up skipper Jacob Clarke (0) at 19, Ali Hasham (8) at 25 and Emile Haratbar (8) at 42.
Sam Molloy (40) and Snyman put on 83 for the 5th wicket and then Snyman and Farnworth added 217.
Rohaib Hussain (3-43) ended Farnworth's innings at 342 with Snyman being run out at 363.
Chris Smith sent back Jon Hayhurst (0) without addition and then Hussain removed Noah Cronshaw (4) and Asad Khan (0) in successive balls as the last 4 wickets fell for the addition of just 5 runs.
Church replied with openers Craig Fergusson and skipper Raheem Kasser putting on 50 before Kasser fell to his opposite number Clarke for 25.
Fergusson was caught by Hasham off Lowe at 76 for 37.
One run later Gunasinghe was bowled by Khan for 7.
Jak Tyson made 19 before being caught behind by Haratbar off Khan at 100.
Two runs later Mohammed Patel was caught and bowled by Khan for 1.
Toby Gargan was stumped by Haratbar off Khan for 4 at 109 and Chris Smith (27) was stumped off Snyman at 154 after a 45 run stand with Rohaib Hussain (19 not out) as Church closed on 154-7.
Accrington's failure to take maximum points cost the club the joint leadership of Division 2 with local rivals Rishton moving 2 points clear after three games.
The seconds also beat Church by 69 runs at Thorneyholme Road.
Rohid Ashraf (54), Hafiz Ahmed (49), Mohammed Tayyib (46) and Waleed Majeed (35) all chipped in to Accrington's 229-8.
Waleed then picked up 3-36 to help restrict Church to 160-6.
