A 4th wicket stand of 77 helped Accrington end their losing run of six defeats with a 3 wicket win over bottom club Nelson at The iMEP Arena.
Emile Haratbar hit 51, his maiden Lancashire League half century and Yousuf Ali made 38 in a match turning 4th wicket stand with Nelson sub professional Chalana de Silva taking 5-44.
Stand-in skipper Neil Thompson top scored with 58 in Nelson's 206-7.
Thompson and Abid Ul Wahab (28) put on 61 before Wahab fell to a stumping by Haratbar to give leg spinner Dilshan Fernando his first Lancashire League wicket.
Fernando struck again at 73 to clean bowl Harry Waddington (9).
Thompson was caught by Fernando off Siraj Hussain at 115 after hitting nine fours in his 97 ball innings.
De Silva (7) was caught and bowled by his opposite number Jurie Snyman at 124.
Snyman (3-70) also sent back Ash Imdad (5) at 130.
Nabeel Ahmed and Gul Sabir added 46 for the 6th wicket before Sabir was caught behind by Haratbar off Snyman for 34.
Ahmed was run out for 46 at 201 with Rehan Hussain (8 not out) and Miles Pemberton (3 not out) the not out batters when the innings closed on 206-7.
Openers Snyman and Jon Hayhurst (19) put on 38 before the amateur was caught by Thompson off de Silva.
Snyman was trapped in front by de Silva for 38, passing 900 runs for the season, at 79.
Skipper Graeme Sneddon fell in identical fashion for 22 at 103.
Haratbar and Ali put on 77 for the 4th wicket before Ali was stumped by Pemberton off de Silva for 38.
Thompson cleaned up George Mills without scoring 1 run later at 181.
Andy Greenwood was trapped in front by Thompson without addition leaving Accrington on 181-6.
Two runs later Haratbar was caught by Imdad off de Silva for 51, including two fours and a six, meaning 4 wickets had fallen for the addition of just 3 runs.
It was too late for Nelson through with Fernando hitting an unbeaten 13 and Hussain 8 not out in an unbroken 8th wicket stand of 24.
