A hard fought 3 wicket win at Accrington takes Greenmount up to joint fourth place.

Jacob Clarke top scored with 53 in Accrington's 221-9 with Greenmount sub professional Muhammad Junaid taking 5-50.

Oliver Dixon picked up the wickets of openers Jon Hayhurst (10) and Nathaniel Young (0) on his league debut.

Skipper Graeme Sneddon (14) was bowled by Junaid at 52.

Professional Jurie Snyman hit a run a ball 43 in adding 56 for the 4th wicket with Clarke.

Emile Haratbar (13) fell to Junaid at 130.

Clarke hit four fours in his 84 ball knock before falling to Junaid at 171.

Junaid also removed Yousuf Ali (4) at 180.

Ali Hasham fell to Ismael Patel at 214 after hitting 46 and Oliver Lowe (10) was bowled by Amal Dalugoda at 220.

Asad Khan (5 not out) and Mohammed Tayyib (1 not out) were the not out batsmen at the close.

Lowe (3-55) removed openers Ed Dickinson (2) and Evan Dobson (0) at 3 and 5.

He then had Junaid (12) caught by Snyman at 31. Andy Kerr (45) and skipper Travis Townsend put on 79 for the 4th wicket before Kerr chipped a return catch to Snyman.

Gavin Nicholl (0) also fell to Snyman at the same score.

Clarke returned to the attack to remove Townsend (83 with eleven fours and two sixes) and Patel (4) at 174 and 180.

Cameron Mapstone then took charge, hitting eight fours in making an unbeaten 47, adding a match winning unbroken 45 for the 8th wicket with Jacob Norris (12 not out) to see Greenmount home in the 46th over. 

Scorecard

The seconds beat Greenmount by 3 wickets thanks to good knocks by Husan Ashraf (86) and Waleed Majeed (51) chasing 245 for victory.
