Jon Hayhurst completed his first league half century in six years and the first by an Accrington amateur this season but Aadil Waghat took 3-34 to help East Lancs to a 33 run win at Accrington.
Skipper James Westhead was first to go trapped in front by Accrington professional Jurie Snyman for 20 at 57.
Asad Shahid added 48 with opener John Turner before being run out for 38.
John Turner and professional Adithya Siriwardhana took the score to 130 when John was bowled by Yousuf Ali for 60, including seven fours and a six.
Muhammad Naveed (4) also fell to Ali four runs later but Paul Turner (32) and Siriwardhana put on 64 for the 5th wicket before the amateur was caught behind by Emile Haratbar.
Suban Jalal was run out for 12 but Siriwardhana was unbeaten on 48 when the innings closed on 236-6.
Jon Hayhurst and Asad Khan (21) put on 41 before Khan fell to Abu Hotiana.
Ali (1) fell to Naveed at 56 but Hayhurst and Snyman added 66 for the 3rd wicket when Siriwardhana had Snyman caught for 40.
Hayhurst completed his half century before he fell to Siriwardhana for 56, including six fours, at 154.
Skipper Graeme Sneddon and Siraj Hussain both fell to Aadil Waghat without scoring at 157 and 181.
Haratbar made 30 before he also fell to the same bowler at 179.
George Mills (7 not out) and Joe Graham (3 not out on his league debut) took Accrington to 203 and two batting points with an unbroken 8th wicket stand of 22.
East Lancs won for the second time whilst Accrington fell to a third successive defeat.
The seconds were also beaten by 10 runs at East Lancs.
