Professional Mohammad Jamal joined Jackson and this pair added 64 before Jackson was caught by Simon Hanson off Asad Khan for a league best 77, including eight fours.
Hanson trapped Denis Louis (2) in front at 147 but Harry Dean hit a 30 ball 41 to increase the run rate, adding 68 with his professional before holing out to skipper Jacob Clarke off Farnworth (3-46).
Hanson trapped skipper Simon Wright (1) in front at 224 and then ended Jamal's innings of 74 which included four fours and three sixes and saw him reach 500 runs for the season, at 247.
Jaime King was unbeaten on 12 when the innings closed on 250-7.
Openers Jonny Dack (13) and Graeme Sneddon (16) put on 30 but three wickets fell at the same score with Saif Ur-Rehman removing Dack and skipper Wright accounting for Sneddon and Clarke (first ball).

Hanson finished unbeaten on 59, including five fours when the innings closed on 193-9 with Oliver Lowe also unbeaten on 1.
The seconds also lost to Crompton going down to an 8 wicket defeat at Glebe Street.
Mohammed Tayyib hit 64, Rohid Ashraf 35, Nathaniel Young 26 and Waleed Majeed 18 in Accrington's 170-9.
Crompton knocked off the runs in 28 overs.
