A nail-biting finish at The iMEP Arena saw Colne beat Accrington by 1 wicket off the final ball of the match.

Matt Walker was the hero for Colne, hitting an unbeaten 12, 11 of which came off Oliver Lowe's final over of the game.

Emile Haratbar top scored with 44 in Accrington's 135-7.

Opener Jon Hayhurst (6) fell to Saud Ahmed at 14 and then professional Jurie Snyman and Haratbar put on 51 for the 2nd wicket before Snyman was caught and bowled by his opposite number Geeth Kumara for 29.

Jacob Clarke (3) fell to Walker at 74 with Haratbar being stumped by Sam Tillotson off Kumara at 89.

Skipper Graeme Sneddon (28) was next to go bowled by Fiaz Hussain (3-36) at 117.

Hussain also sent back Ali Hasham (7) at 124 and Abbaas Ahmad (5) at 125 leaving Lowe and Yousuf Ali both unbeaten on 5 at the close.

Clarke (4-30) sent back opener Kenton Rhodes (4) and Tillotson (0) to have Colne 8-2.

Ismheel Shakeel (230) and Kumara put on 33 before the amateur fell to Snyman.

Yasir Ali and Kumara took the score to 76 when Asad Khan had Kumara caught behind by Haratbar for 30.

Ali (20) followed to the same bowler three runs later and when Shahbaz Rashid (3) was caught and bowled by Snyman 3 wickets had fallen for the addition of three runs.

Skipper Tom Bradshaw led the fightback, making 23 before edging Lowe behind at 114.

Clarke returned to send back Hussain (14) at 126 and Sammi Senapathi (7) at 127 but Walker and last man Ahmed took 12 off the final over to wrap up a dramatic win.

The seconds were also beaten at Lowerhouse by 8 runs.
