Bedford and Matt Roberts (52 from 35 balls with six fours and a six) put on 102 for the 3rd wicket after the loss of Callum Clarke (12) at 17 and Qasim Shah (11) at 25.
Skipper Jacob Clarke hit 38, Kian Farnworth 33, professional Jurie Snyman 15 and Emile Haratbar 14 in Accrington's 136-7.
