A second successive defeat, this time by 5 wickets at Bacup, sees former Division 2 leaders Accrington drop down to third place.
Skipper Ben Lord (3-36) and professional Garnett Tarr (3-37) took 3 wickets apiece to help bowl Accrington out for 131.
Jack Bradford (2-29) had Graeme Sneddon (3) caught by Lawrence Adlum at 12 with Lord picking up Jonny Dack (9) at 21.
Professional Jurie Snyman was caught and bowled by Bradford at 48 for 11.
George Sumner (2-17) removed Emile Haratbar (6) and Sam Molloy (0) in successive balls at 64.
Two runs later skipper Jacob Clarke was bowled by Tar for 29. Kian Farnworth (26) and Ali Hasham (24) added 55 for the 7th wicket before Lord removed Hasham at 121 and Farnworth at 127.
Tarr polished off the innings by trapping Jon Hayhurst (4) in front at 129 and Oliver Lowe (1) at 131.
Snyman had Adlum (28) caught behind by Haratbar at 35 but Tarr and opener Matt Collinge took the score to 73 when Tarr was caught behind off Farnworth for a league best 22.
Snyman trapped Bradford (9) in front at 98 and three runs later Collinge was run out for 38.
The scores were level when Luke Donovan (20) fell to Hasham leaving Chris Gansler (9 not out) and Steven Ball (4 not out) to see Bacup to a second win of the season in the 40th over.
The seconds stay in second place in the table after a 19 run win over Bacup at Thorneyholme Road.
Mohammed Tayyib proved to be the match winner top scoring with 25 in Accrington's 103 all out and then taking 6-27 to help bowl Bacup out for 84.
