A brilliant unbeaten century from professional Jurie Snyman took Accrington to a 3 wicket win over leaders Bacup at The iMEP Arena. Chasing Bacup's 176-6, Snyman hit seventeen boundaries in making 111 from 122 balls. After adding 28 with George Mills (10), Bacup professional Chirag Khurana dismissed Yousuf Ali (0), Emile Haratbar (0), skipper Graeme Sneddon (19), Jimmy Hayhurst (4) and Andy Greenwood (8) in picking up 5-60. Bacup skipper Ben Lord (2-34) removed Siraj Hussain (1) but Asad Khan (5 not out) stayed with his professional in an unbroken 7th wicket stand of 34 to secure a second successive league win. Opener Matt Collinge top scored with 61 in Bacup's 176-6. Mehmood Ahmad removed opener Lawrence Adlum (12) at 28. Khurana made 22 before being trapped in front by his opposite number Snyman at 70. Snyman had Chris Gansler stumped by Haratbar at 92. Collinge and Jack Bradford put on 63 for the 4th wicket when Bradford was caught and bowled by Snyman (3-48) for a career best 44. Six runs later Collinge was trapped in front by Hayhurst after hitting seven fours during his 118 ball innings. Mohsin Iqbal was unbeaten on 11 at the close of the innings.
The seconds also had a 7 wicket win at Bacup.
