The promotion race was settled on the final day with Accrington joining champions Nelson in the Premier Division next season inspite of losing at Rochdale on the final day.
Former Accrington player Tom Walker hit an unbeaten 74 to lead Rochdale to a 1 wicket win over his former club at Redbrook.
Walker took 3-41 to help bowl Accrington out for 122.

Sam Molloy joined Graeme Sneddon to add 74 before Molloy was caught by Moosa Kashmiri off skipper Michael Harling for a league best 43.

Without addition sub professional Tilaksha Malshan was caught behind by Tom Gilbertson off Jacob Pauline for 3.
Ten runs later Pauline cleaned up Emile Haratbar (2).
Skipper Jacob Clarke (14 to pass 4,000 Lancashire League runs) was bowled by Walker at 112 with Simon Hanson (5) falling at the same score, bowled sweeping at Oddy.
Jon Hayhurst (0) was caught behind by Gilbertson off Walker one run later.
Walker trapped Asad Khan (0) in front at 121 and when Kian Farnworth (8) was run out at 122 there were 13.4 overs remaining.
Malshan took 6-30 but thanks to Walker who hit eight fours in his 101 ball knock and Ali Muzaffar (25) Rochdale got home by 1 wicket.
Haratbar claimed another five victims to finish as Division 2s leading wicketkeeper with 40 victims.
Malshan picked up Zac Ayres (3) and Kashmiri (0) at 7 but Walker and Mazaffar added 71 for the 3rd wicket.
Malshan returned to remove Muzaffar and when he added the scalps of Gilbertson (6), Pauline (0) and Harling (0) and Clarke removed Ed Wackrill (0) Rochdale had lost 4 wickets for the addition of just 1 run.
Oliver Lowe picked up Andy Harrison (2) at 106 but veteran Paul Butterworth (9) joined Walker to take the score to 120 before falling to Farnworth.
Walker hit the winning runs in the 45th over, Accrington picking up five bowling points. to finish 10 points behind champions Nelson who beat former leaders Crompton at Seedhill.
Waleed Majeed broke Geoff Hayhurst's 41 year old club 2nd XI batting record when he scored 31 in the 121 home defeat to Enfield.
Waleed finishes the season with 730 league runs.
The thirds final home game against Lowerhouse 4th XI on Saturday was abandoned without play.
