Accrington are out of the Worsley Cup after losing to Greenmount by 9 wickets at The iMEP Arena.

An unbeaten century by Tom Heaton took Greenmount through to the quarter finals.

Heaton hit fifteen fours and a six in making exactly 100.

He put on 52 with professional Jacques Snyman (26) and an unbroken 145 with Andy Kerr (55 not out with six fours) to see Greenmount to victory in the 28th over chasing 194.

An unbroken 8th wicket stand of 110 between Emile Haratbar and Mohammed Tayyib took Accrington from 83-7 to 193-7.

Haratbar hit nine fours and a six in a career best unbeaten 80 with Tayyib hitting five fours in his unbeaten 39.

The stand was the club's highest for the 8th wicket in the competition.

Ismael Patel (4-44) picked up the wickets of openers Nathaniel Young (8) and Jon Hayhurst (14) along with skipper Graeme Sneddon (2) and Abbaas Ahmad (9) to reduce Accrington to 60-4.

Professional Jurie Snyman was caught by Patel off Callum Hunter (3-25) for 19, six runs later.

Hunter also sent back Oliver Lowe (0) at 74 and Yousuf Ali (4) at 83.
