This weeks teams

This season we are looking back at the historic Lancashire League championship winning season of 1975 and also the less successful season of 1995 when Colin Miller was professional.

Accrington chalked up a second successive win but they had to work hard to get home with just 2 wickets left after bowling East Lancs out for 82 at Thorneyholme Road on May 4th 1975.

Accrington went down to a 122 run defeat at Lowerhouse on Saturday May 6th 1995.

On Sunday May 7th skipper Mark Aspin (5-38) and professional Colin Miller (4-41) combined to take 9 wickets between them to help bowl Accrington to a 32 run win over Bacup at Thorneyholme Road.
