This season we are looking back at the historic Lancashire League championship winning season of 1975 and also the less successful season of 1995 when Colin Miller was professional.

Accrington went down to a 7 wicket defeat at Lanehead after setting Bacup a target of 178 for victory on Saturday June 28th 1975.

Accrington won for the first time in nine league and cup matches beating Enfield by 4 wickets at Thorneyholme Road to send their local rivals to the bottom of the table on Sunday June 25th 1995.
