This season we are looking back at the historic Lancashire League championship winning season of 1975 and also the less successful season of 1995 when Colin Miller was professional.

Accrington moved into second place behind Burnley after handing local rivals Church a 9 wicket beating at West End on Saturday July 5th 1975.

Paul Barratt's maiden Lancashire League century couldn't prevent Accrington from going down to a 4 wicket defeat at Rawtenstall on Saturday July 1st 1995.

The following day Sunday July 2nd 1995 Accrington went down to a second defeat of the weekend, losing to Todmorden by 2 wickets in a low scoring game at Thorneyholme Road.
