This season we are looking back at the historic Lancashire League championship winning season of 1975 and also the less successful season of 1995 when Colin Miller was professional.

League leaders Accrington picked up 5 points at Seedhill with a hard fought 3 wicket victory over Nelson on Saturday August 23rd 1975.

Accrington chalked up a ninth successive victory, overcoming defending champions Ramsbottom by 2 wickets in a tense low scoring match that went to the wire on Sunday August 24th 1975.

Accrington went down to a tenth successive defeat, losing by 6 wickets against East Lancs at Thorneyholme Road on Sunday August 20th 1995.
